Linking – The New Way

by Admin on October 18, 2008

Search engine optimization and their logarithms has always been influenced by the linking available on the websites, but over linking a page can and will lead to devolution of ranking in the search engine ratings. So what you want is a balance of everything to conserve the looks while maintaining the integrity of the page. In the past paid linking was thought of the way to increase your web site’s ranking, but eventually search engines saw this as a method to devalue their search results. Internet marketing, as often describes it worked on something called ‘pay per click’. This approach was widely discredited by almost all the search engines including Google, Yahoo and MSN. In the recent development, many search engines have come up with new and better algorithms to track down paid links on different websites. So if you are paying somebody to keep a link of your website on their page, better keep this transaction under the table because if somehow the search engines find out, this will lead to a sharp degradation of both your website and in the long term your business.

eCommerce is something you just cannot ignore but professionals in the web design business often argue over the inter-linking and progressive-linking styles followed by different website. Some argue that search engines are widely discrediting inter-linking between the websites and suggest that one way-linking or progressive linking should be adopted because the new algorithms in the search engines follow this rule and it seems the right forms because it coincides with the natural growth of the website.
